Fierce Love Farm in Qualicum Beach, BC is seeking a farm team member!
ABOUT Fierce Love Farm
Fierce Love Farm is a small scale vegetable farm in Qualicum Beach, the territory of the Qualicum First Nation, Snaw-naw-as, and K’ómoks peoples. We sell our produce at the local farmers’ market, and to restaurants and independent grocers.
We started Fierce Love Farm in 2018, after many years of working on certified organic farms around BC, from Cawston to Saanich. We are particularly passionate about agroecology, soil science, land access, and food sovereignty. Our success is measured by marked increases in our soil health, well-fed community members, happy staff, and a diverse farm ecosystem.
We use thoughtful ecological management practices, and employ a variety of techniques to sustainably manage the land with care and future farmers in mind. We focus on cultural practices rather than pesticides, and use organic amendments, compost, and low-tillage to build our soil’s health.
We work hard to provide a healthy working environment, and we strive to be an inclusive, safe space for people of all communities to work and learn.
2026 will be our 9th year of operation, and our 5th here in Qualicum. Between us we have many years of experience farming on organic farms around BC, and love to share our knowledge and passion for farming! We are happy to provide previous employee references for folks we interview.
We would love to find crew members who are interested in joining our farm for more than one season!
