ABOUT Twisted Hills Craft Cider
Back Achers Organics is comprised of 17 acres of mixed tree fruits in Cawston BC. In
conjunction with our farm Back Achers we operate our cidery Twisted Hills.
Our farm and cidery are both certified organic by PACS and we are proud stewards of
our land. Join our team and learn about organic farming practices and the process of
organic cider making!

- Must be available and willing to work holidays and weekends
- Must be at least 19 years old and have “Serving it Right” certification
- Willingness to learn more
- Excellent hospitality, sales, organizational and customer service skills
- Ability to stand on one’s feet for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift and move 50 lbs
JOB TASKS
- Greet all visitors and professionally pour cider and spirits for tastings
- Acquire and maintain thorough knowledge of Twisted Hills and its ciders/spirits
- Provide an approachable and accurate description of the Twisted Hills story and ciders/spirits
- Accurately handle purchase transactions, operate cash register and credit card processor
- Cleaning and organization as required such as glassware, tasting room display, work area (inside & outside) and washrooms
- Perform opening and closing tasks as laid out
- Answer any incoming calls and provide detail messages when required
- Assist with displays
- Keeping outdoor area clean, watering plants, moving sprinklers
- Assisting with preparing and shipping orders or other tasks around the cidery as required
JOB DETAILS
Term: Mid August – October 31, 2024
Hours per week: A work week will be between 30-40 hours per week. Tasting room work will include weekends and holidays. Tasting room hours are 10am to 6pm.
Wage: Hourly wage starts at $22-$25/hour based on experience.
Facilities: Access to water, power and WIFI . We have a perfect place for a camper and for the right applicant a camper trailer can be available.
