FARM RESOURCES
APPRENTICESHIPS – YA posts blogs, resources and paid internship opportunities offered by farms, as well as YA coordinated apprenticeships.
BUSINESS RESOURCES – Check our the business page and blog roll to find a well curated list of resources and development tools for your farm ranging from cashflow, enterprise budgets, to planning and marketing tools, and more.
FARM CLUBS – This great guide was created by the YA Alberta team for creating meet-up spaces in your area to share knowledge and jam with other farmers. Farmer-to-farmer for the win!
JOBS – Visit the Job Board to see current employment opportunities across Canada. Submit your ecological farm job here.
LAND ACCESS – YA has developed a B.C. Land Access Guide that has been adapted to Alberta, Ontario and New Brunswick. The YA Land Access Guide is a start-up primer for new farmers wanting to get onto land, as well as Lease and License templates to support land owners and farmer education on legal agreements. YA hosts Land Linking workshops and Land Socials to bring together landholders and land seekers.
U-MAP – A national interactive Resource Map focused on centralizing information for new and young farmers from farms in the network, to available land, financial resources, farm suppliers and more. Add your resource to the map or find a resource. If you are mapping resources in your area, please get in touch!
