We are super excited to announce our first event Young Agrarians event in Saskatchewan! Young Agrarians is a network for new and young ecological. Join us for a social mixer at the Organic Connections conference. Meet other farmers and agrarians in Saskatchewan, learn what they are up to and make new contacts in ecological farming! The amazingly talented Virginie Lavallée-Picard and Alex Fletcher of Wind Whipped Farm are hosting a Young Agrarians Farmer Mixer on August 24th in Metchosin, BC.  On the agenda is a farm tour, a potluck dinner on Taylor Beach and a beach party! It was an awesome two days at Summerhill Winery, March 8-9, 2014. Saturday we had @ 75 participants filtering in throughout the day and night. We broke the day up into open space in the morning session and workshops in the afternoon. Introduction Circle:) Networking up the room so that farmers and participants know who is in the space. On January 26th and 27th the Young Agrarians hosted the first ever Young Farmer Mixer at Summerhill Winery in Kelowna, BC. Although I am passionate about all things to do with local food, I am not a farmer by any stretch.
