A Rocha is a christian non-profit focused on caring for the environment through education, conservation science and sustainable agriculture. Their farm is about 2.5 acres with about half of their production in a no-till system (they just switched over this year!). Their primary focus is their CSA with 170 shares, but they also sell at their farm market on site, do a bit of wholesale and restaurant sales, and donate shares/produce to partner agencies through grants and donations. EVENT RECAP: Land Social at Jewel Creek Farm

On September 11, 2021, we gathered with more than 30 people for a socially-distanced outdoor Land Social at Jewel Creek Farm just outside of Greenwood, B.C., unceded and traditional territory of the Syilx Nation. Land Socials connect farmers and farmland holders, and set them up to receive ongoing support through the program, as well as anyone who loves food, farming, and getting out onto the land.
