You’re invited to a pruning workshop and potluck at Kanaka Bar! Join us for a day in the orchard learning how to prune various types of fruit trees, led by local farmer Ashala Daniel of Solstedt Organics. Afterwards we will enjoy a potluck lunch. We’re back with another work party at the Lower Similkameen Community Food Hub, Farm and Garden! Come out to lend a hand with spring farm work and building infrastructure to grow Indigenous food sovereignty. Everyone is welcome to attend. SEPT 17: VICTORIA, BC – Lohbrunner Farm Tour and Land Stewardship Models for the Future

Join us at Lohbrunner Community Farm for a farm tour, discussion on cooperatively managing farmland, potluck, and a work party! Learn more about our unique model for stewarding land, and for farmers to gain access to farm land. During the farm tour, we will talk about this model—the land is held in trust by Farm Folk City Folk, managed by the Lohbrunner Community Farm Co-op (LCFC).
