Young Agrarians is celebrating the tenth year of the Business Mentorship Network (BMN) program in BC and the second year of the program in the Prairies! The BMN offers business mentorships to a diverse array of new and young farmers. Through one-on-one mentorship, peer networks and online workshops young farmers develop the skills necessary to operate ecologically sustainable and financially viable farm businesses. Young Agrarians is celebrating the tenth year of the Business Mentorship Network (BMN) program in BC and the second year of the program in the Prairies! The BMN offers farm business mentorship to a diverse array of new and young farmers. The mentorship is offered over the course of a year. Through one-on-one mentorship, peer networks and online workshops new farmers develop the skills necessary to operate ecologically sustainable and financially viable farm businesses. Direct Farm Manitoba is excited for our next farm mentorship gathering, a place for farmers and wannabe farmers to get together and learn from one another. Heart Acres Farm is hosting our next gathering August 18th at 6:30pm (1395 Lasko Rd., just south of Winnipeg). This gathering is for women, trans, and queer farmers and growers. Bursaries: Success for Women in Agri-Food Program

Organic Alberta and Young Agrarians are excited to announce that we are providing bursaries for women farmers in Alberta to participate in the Success for Women in Agri-Food Program hosted by the Agriculture and Food Council.
