Little Mountain Farm in Saanich, BC, is seeking a part-time farm apprentice for the 2018 season. ABOUT LITTLE MOUNTAIN FARM Little Mountain Farm is a one-acre mixed vegetable farm located near Mt Doug. We grow intensively on this small scale and do most tasks by hand, our only machinery is a walk behind tiller. We grow primarily for our CSA (or Veggie Box program), which feeds 40-50 families per week over the course of the 26-week season (June-November) as well as one market and small wholesale orders. Hello! I run Little Mountain Farm http://www.littlemountainveggies.ca/, a 1-acre non-certified organic mixed vegetable farm and I am looking for a fellow farmer to share the land with for the 2018 season. Sales are primarily through a CSA (I currently harvest 50 shares/week, though this would likely be expanded with the addition of another vegetable farmer!), as well as one farmers market.
