Young Edmonton Grant Are you a youth living in the Edmonton area and have a great idea for a farming-related event? Young Edmonton Grants (YEG) may be a great way to do that! The YEG program gives funding for projects initiated, led, and organized by young Edmonton and area residents. These grants range from $500-$3,000 and are available for residents between the ages of 13 and 24. The grant is intended to support young residents who partner with a registered charity to create their own projects or initiatives. Grant Opportunity for Farmers Interested in Ecological Seed Production

photo by Sara Dent.  The BAUTA Family Seed Security Initiative is offering grants to farmers interested in building their capacity and understanding of seed production through their Seed Training Support Grant.  Growers can apply for up to $500 to attend the following training events on ecological seed production. These events offer intermediate to advanced training on growing vegetable seeds and field crops. Eligible costs include travel expenses and registration fees.
