Young Agrarians is celebrating the sixth year of the Business Mentorship Network (BMN) program. The BMN offers business mentorships  to a diverse array of new and young farmers across BC. Through one-on-one mentorship and peer networks, young farmers develop the skills necessary to operate ecologically sustainable and financially viable farm businesses. We love to profile our program participants and celebrate their efforts! Cowichan Agriculture Training Participant Cowichan Green Community Society – Duncan, BC Overview: The “Cowichan Agriculture Training Project” encompasses 1 year of training in agricultural skills for those who have a desire to work in this growing sector. Participants will be provided with classroom training and hands-on agricultural work placements over the course of this one year program, based in the Cowichan Region. Participants will complete detailed learning plans and participate in life and employability skill sessions in addition to field training.
