Community Futures Wildfire Business Transition Program Business and Not-For-Profit Training The Wildfire Business Transition – Self-Directed Training Program is intended to help businesses and not-for-profits (organizations) impacted by the 2017 wild fire season to identify their training needs and provide financial and advisory support to meet those needs. Land Matching Program to Central and Northern B.C.! “Land matchers are making it much easier for young people and aspiring farmers to find affordable, suitable land and enter British Columbia’s vibrant farming sector,” said Lana Popham, Minister of Agriculture. “Their work to connect farmers and landowners in more remote areas will help ensure farmland is being farmed and secure the industry and land for future generations.”  – Via the recent B.C. Farmers and ranchers are facing a summer of the fiercest B.C. wildfires on record. Many were forced to evacuate, and have lost animals, homes, and their livelihoods.
