Celebrate 2015 as the International Year of Soils! From Deborah Koons Garcia, the director that brought you “The Future of Food”, the “Symphony of the Soil” is a film that explores the mutuality between soil, water, humans, plants and animals.
Symphony of the Soil will be presented Thursday, March 19 at 7pm at the Schubert Centre by Allan Brooks Nature Centre in partnership with the BC Institute of Agrologists, the Food Action Society of the North Okanagan (FASNO), and the Sustainable Environment Network Society (SENS). After the film, join us for discussion with local soils experts, and a facilitated breakout session to discuss the future of Soil Resilience in the North Okanagan. Tickets available at the door.
