Join Gabe Cipes, Permaculture designer and Biodynamicist with Jade Shaman, master gardener/carpenter for a farm tour of Summerhill Pyramid Winery. This special farm is more than a winery! The farm tour will give you a chance to check out the vineyards, forest gardens, culinary gardens, glass house nursery, Pit house/Kekuli, bees and chickens. The tour starts at 4pm and will be followed by a potluck gathering at the estate house looking over the lake and vineyards.

Gabe has been involved with the Young Agrarians from the start. He says: “I whole- heartedly support this movement and am exited to welcome new farmers and familiar faces to our home and experimental play ground to share some of our practices and produce. I sit on many boards related to food policy and organic certification and occasionally offer lectures and teach.”
Be sure to stick around for socializing! Gabe will facilitate a conversation regarding the concept of a Decentralized, Bioregional, food school to involve more individuals in the our food ecology and economy.

Parking & Directions
Parking will be at the end of the driveway at 4870 Chutelake Rd. Stay straight at the entrance, don’t turn in towards the Pyramid. Keep going straight to the culdesac at the very end of the driveway.
