Mark your calendars – Sooke Food CHI‘s 4th annual Sooke Farm Tour is coming up Sunday, July 19!
This is a ticketed tour where your ticket is a map of 9 Sooke area farms that you can visit anytime between 11-5 that day (rain or shine!). Tour stops stretch east from Eagle Paws Organics to as far west as Silver Cloud Farm on the border between Shirley and Otter Point.
You can tour around each farm, meet the farmers, learn about what their farms bring to the community and the challenges they face and participate in activities and experience “hands-on farming for a day”, with lots to see and do for kids and adults alike. Many farms will have items available to purchase too!
Tickets are $15 & FREE for those 12 and under (ticket locations on website, also available day of) with funds raised going to support sustainable agriculture initiatives in the Sooke region. Come out and learn about the dynamic life of farmers in our region!
