Seed to Culture in Lillooet, BC is seeking a Farm and Ferment Assistant for the 2020 season!

About Seed to Culture

Seed to Culture is a small scale vegetable farm and fermented food processor. We grow mixed vegetables and fruit using organic practices on over 3 acres of productive land in Lillooet, BC. Our business, as farmers and fermenters, has been in operation for over 2 years but we have been market farmers for over 10 years. We sell our vegetables at Farmers Markets and use our vegetables at our small food production facility to make sauerkraut and other fermented products. We also have a small retail location where we sell our vegetables, fermented products, and other Lillooet grown or made products.

Our goal is to create an ecologically, environmentally, and physiologically regenerative business that provides the community with a source of locally produced healthy, delicious product. To create a financially viable preserved food business based around the production of value added healthy fermented products. We value holistic approaches to farming, food production, and consumption. We value practices that are regenerative to the environment and our bodies. Our farm is both certified organic and in transition as we farm on 3 different properties.
