What this workshop offers

With the workshop’s heavy focus on regenerative agriculture and soil health, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of how to appropriately engage with their water management systems while promoting plant fertility governed mainly by soil biology.

Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of:

  • Farm planning and management
  • Streamlining farming operations with regenerative design
  • Water management and farm hydrology
  • Fundamentals of soil ecology and microbiology’s role in plant production
  • Integrated pest management and promotion of biodiversity
  • Regenerative agriculture for business growth and how to effectively market your business

Who this workshop is for

  • Small to medium scale farmers
  • Greenhouse operators
  • Small-scale ranchers
  • Backyard gardeners
  • Individuals with general interest in regenerative agriculture, permaculture, soil ecology, or agroecology

Workshop Fee

This workshop has a limited capacity of 30 participants.

$350/person

This fee includes:

  • Delicious lunch, coffee, tea and snacks on both days
  • 1-hr post-workshop consultation with Ryan Hill of Permanent Consulting
  • 1 basic soil food web analysis from Jo Tobias of RootShoot Soils

$275/person
This fee includes:

We can provide a nut, gluten and/or dairy free option, however, we cannot guarantee cross contamination. People with severe allergies are kindly asked to provide their own food. Thank you for your understanding.

Out-of-town participants

A Rocha will also be offering accommodation for participants travelling from out of town. There are 5 guestrooms available – $60/night for single or $80/night for double occupancy. Breakfast is included.
