About Organic Only:
Emilie Thoueille grew up in France, studied architecture in Mexico, and ended up in the Similkameen valley working on vegetable farms during her travels. She loved it so much, she decided to stay, and now leases 2.5 acres, and grows on approximately 0.75 acres.
She’s learned from friends, local farmers, books, and by getting into the soil and growing. Now in her 4th season farming, she is also active on the Penticton Farmers Market Board. Emilie strives to always improve efficiency on her farm, and we’ve heard from other farmers in the area that she runs a tight ship! Her biggest battles on the farm are weeds and deer.
