The growing season has arrived and it’s time to think about next steps for your farming journey! Completing this course is a big accomplishment and means that you have a base understanding of land stewardship, soil health, practices for different farm types, and ways to have a meaningful farm experience.
Now there is a chance to map out how your farming journey might evolve. Are you interested in a farm job or apprenticeship? Will you go out to visit or volunteer on a farm? Does joining a community garden sounds like it would suit you? Is it possible for you to do some growing on your own to experiment?
This topic is all about understanding how these pieces might fit together and which ones make the most sense for you now and into the future. We’ll be joined by three speakers who will share their own farm journey so far and what lays ahead for them down the road. You can check out the speaker bios on our webpage.
