This 7.78 acres in the ALR is located on Rifle Rd in Kelowna has some intriguing possibilities for the right farmer.  The back of the property includes 2 fields, totalling 2.5 acres. Currently, the land owner keeps a few head of cattle in these areas. The whole property irrigated with 2 inch pipe, 4 ft underground and the water comes from the Glenmore Ellison District.  The soil is a combination of clay and rock, but has been much improved after the owner spread manure across the whole property on advice from an agrologist. The front part of the property is a 1 acre concrete pad, which used to be a mushroom barn. The barn has since been removed, but the foundation remains, as well as an excellent drainage system and 3 phase power.

The land owner is interested in seeing more agricultural activities on the land and is open to creative ideas on how to make this possible. There is also 2 homes on the property which may be able to be used by the leasing farmer, if permission is given by the ALC.
