LAND OPPORTUNITY: 21 ACRES – GRONLID, SASKATCHEWAN

Posted by Azja Jones Martin on January 07, 2019

ABOUT THE LAND

This farm is 21 acres in the township of Gronlid, Saskatchewan. The farm is 20 minutes from all amenities (grocery store, building supplies, farm equipment and lots more) and is easily accessible off  SK 335, the main road passing through Gronlid.

There are several out buildings including a 30×50 barn with a loft and stalls, two enclosed garages/workshops with power, two mid-land storage sheds, one primary two-story residence with basement, and one secondary guest house as well several additional small out buildings.

There is a small water feature on the south side of property that may be useful for irrigation as well as two older wells – one by the house and one by the barn. The property does not currently have much fencing, but it could easily be installed.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

The farm is currently producing a wheat crop, and the owners are open to new, creative and unique ideas for farming the land, as well as more conventional ones.

The type of agreement that would be negotiated is dependant on your vision and what you would like to do on the land. Some of these buildings are in need of repair, and we are planing to invest in some of these buildings (particularly the main house and barn). The landowners plan on making a significant investment in improvements, which may be open to adaptation depending on the needs of your farming enterprise. Renovations will begin in mid-spring 2019 and through the summer.
