This property is located very centrally in Kelowna, but has the feeling of a quiet oasis. The land has been farmed with organic principles by successful young farmers for the past 5 years, so the soil is rich, healthy and alive. The whole property is 4 acres, and there is approximately 1.5 acres that are tilled up and ready to plant. Depending on the needs of the leasing farmer the size of the leased area could be expanded or made smaller. An artesian aquifer produces large quantities of water for irrigation, but the irrigation needs are minimal, as the water table is very high.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

 The land owners would like to see the land used and maintained with organic methods. There is a irrigation system set up throughout the growing area, a seedling greenhouse with tables and plant trays. There is also a walk in cooler on the property that the farmer could use with a bit of fixing up and replacing the air conditioner unit.
