Kakwa Ecovillage Cooperative invites potential farmers to join us for our annual Open House and Harvest Celebration to our farm Cooperative. We are a 540 acre mixed use organic methods farm. We have large vegetable gardens, small orchard of 35 apple, plum and Evans cherry trees, plus 7 berry varieties and a herd of 20 alpacas. There are several participation options available, including: short to long-term lease and full coop membership.
About the Annual Harvest Feast and Open House

Getting to Kakwa Ecovillage Cooperative
From Prince George, you can travel and depart by Via Rail. Arrival is by ~ Noon on Sat. with departure ~ 4:30pm on Sunday.
As always there will be lots of social time, campfires, walks on the sand bars, and an opportunity for a tour. Some accommodations are available on site and a large camping area by the river for those who wish to tent. A leisurely departure on Monday is available for those that need that extra day! ?
