About the farm

Dancing Goats Farm is an artisanal creamery offering high-quality goat cheeses to Southern Alberta. Our belief in humane relationships with animals, sustainable stewardship of our natural resources, and local food sovereignty influence every decision we make.

After successful ballet careers, we started searching for our next passions. Combining Craig’s love for animals and good food (especially cheese!) and Paul’s love for community and building relationships, Dancing Goats Farm was born.

As farmstead cheese makers, our recipes start with the ethical care of our goats. Natural pasture access is the first step to great cheese and ensures that the milk is wholesome and fresh. After milking, we walk the milk a few paces to our cheese studio. We make cheese in small batches and we’re proud of the variety and quality of our cheese. Our natural, hands-on approach permeates all our processes.

We hope you’ll join us at Dancing Goats Farm to begin developing a relationship with us, your farmers, as well as the animals that provide wholesome and delicious food. It is one of the the best ways for everyone to regain perspective on the importance of food in our lives!
