Come join us on July 27th for a Farm Tour and Potluck at Earth Temple Gardens in Meadow Creek, BC! There's only a few tickets left, so grab your spot soon.We will hear from owner and operator Michael about his passion for sustainable agriculture, his experience selling through multiple sales channels, and his approach to operating on leased land in a remote location. Nyree, the Columbia Basin Land Matcher, will also be there to discuss how she can help you find a farmer for your land, or farmland where you can build your dream farm business. The afternoon will wrap up with a potluck meal, with plenty of time to ask questions and socialize.Join us to connect with other farmers and food lovers, share a meal together, and explore Michael's organic farm.

Last month, we welcomed our 2025 Alberta apprentices to their orientation weekend at Davey Creek Ranch near Innisfail, Alberta! They spent the weekend learning to build fences and enjoying meals that featured beef from the farm (if you've never tried beef tongue tacos, you're missing out!). These incredible young farmers are the heart of Young Agrarians, and it was wonderful to hear their stories and learn about their passion for growing food. 👩🏽‍🌾⁠

Join us for an afternoon at Prairie Garden Seeds and meet Rachelle and Jim Ternier, the father-daughter team behind the operation, and their 2025 Young Agrarians Apprentice, Roisin Graham. They have been providing biodiverse, well-adapted, quality seeds for zone 2 and 3 climates since 1986, growing 95% of their seed catalogue on their family farm.⁠

She grows stunningly gorgeous flowers on just over half an acre, and creates beautiful bouquets and wreaths. 💐This season, she joined our Business Mentorship Network to dig into marketing her farm.⁠
