Grey Bruce Farmers’ Week (GBFW) is a 7-day agricultural conference featuring a program dedicated to each of the major commodity groups (Dairy, Goat, Sheep, Horse, Beef, Crops and Ecological) in Grey and Bruce counties and beyond.

This year, GBFW’s Ecological Day is a producer-lead annual event, related to Ecological Practices on the Farm.

ABOUT GREY BRUCE FARMERS’ WEEK

GBFW has been a main stay in Grey County since 1966, carrying forth a strong mandate to educate farmers and agribusinesses. GBFW features approximately 55 speakers from across Canada and the U.S. Each day also includes a producer panel where producers can learn from their peers. Some of the Presentations given by our stellar speaker line up are CEU accredited.

ABOUT GBFW ECOLOGICAL DAY

The areas of interest for Ecological Farmers encompasses a broad spectrum of topics: small livestock producers, market gardeners, larger livestock farms and field cropping. The purpose of Ecological Day is to provide an opportunity for ecological and organic producers to:

  • discuss pertinent marketing issues;
  • learn about health & nutrition
  • explore soil topics, and much more!
