Are you a rancher wondering what transition looks like for you? Do you have farmland that isn’t being cultivated? Are you farming land without a formal agreement? Are you interested in sharing farmland and don’t know how to get started?
ASK A LAND MATCHER!
Join Land Matcher Nyree Marsh to network and learn about how the B.C. Land Matching Program (BCLMP) can support you. Nyree will share information and answer questions about leasing land, the land matching process and farm transition. Kip Cantrell of Thistle Farm will join Nyree to share his experience with the BCLMP and talk about farming on leased land.
Landholders and farmers of all types are welcome to join us. If you are a landholder who has just started thinking about leasing your land, or if you’ve already put a ton of thought into your vision for your land, come on out! Farmers and farmers-to-be of all types are welcome, whether you grow veggies, raise livestock (or bees!), or have some other farming project in mind.
