ABOUT Sea Bluff Farm Ltd.
Sea Bluff Farm is a special 10-acre piece of land with a unique micro-climate that grows especially delicious fruits and vegetables. Within the Municipality of Metchosin where mild ocean breezes, the protection from old trees, and the gentle incline of the land all contribute to Sea Bluff being the ultimate spot to grow vegetables. Sales through farmstand and Saanich Organics (restaurant and CSA)
Certified Organic since 2014, currently certified with N.O.O.A. Passionate about healthy soil, year round production, feeding our community while providing habitat for native plants and pollinators.
DESIRED QUALITIES
Passion to learn, passion to be part of year round certified organic production. Driven to be a farming specialist.
POSITION TASKS
Harvesting 40+ different crops (veg and fruit), weeding, crop maintenance (outdoor and greenhouse), general farm maintenance, processing produce for sale.
POSITION DETAILS
Term: Start as soon as possible. Permanent or seasonal positions available.
Hours per week: Full time, 40hrs Mon to Fri 8:30 to 5pm is ideal, part time schedules could work for the right person.
Wage: Starting wage $21 per hour and take home veggies- increases with experience level
