River and Sea Flowers in Ladner, BC is looking for Field Crew for the 2019 season!
ABOUT RIVER AND SEA FLOWERS
River and Sea Flowers is a certified organic family farm producing cut flowers on beautiful Westham Island in Delta BC, 30 km from Vancouver. We grow a huge diversity of flowers and foliage on a one acre field as well as in a few hoophouses. We use a range of hand tools as well as tractors and other equipment which we share with 3 other farm operations on our family’s 50 acre parcel. Our flowers are distributed to Vancouver florists, at farmers markets, at the farmgate, to DIY brides and A La Carte wedding clients as well as to our CSA members. Visit our website to learn more about us. www.riverandseaflowers.com
We are committed to bringing local sustainable cut flowers to consumers. This means that we celebrate unique blooms that are naturally scented, freshly picked and grown with methods supporting local biodiversity over those grown and shipped from across the globe and treated with environmentally questionable practices.
Our farm is certified organic and we are proud to be a part of the Slow Flowers movement.
