About Northstar Organics
Northstar Organics grows certified organic and transitional-to-organic fruit and vegetables on our 10 acre farm in Central Saanich. We specialize in greenhouse vegetables; tomatoes, peppers, eggplant and cucumbers as well as blueberries, strawberries and raspberries, and year-around greens such as kale, chard, and fresh salad mixes. We sell at farmers markets in Victoria, wholesale to restaurants and grocery stores, and sell directly to customers.

Desired Qualities
We are seeking harvesters to pick blueberries in July and August this summer. This is a piece work position, so pickers who are efficient can do quite well.
Job Details
Term: Early July until mid August.
Hours: The position is a piece work position, so the employee can choose the amount of hours they wish to work during harvest hours. The harvest will run Monday through Friday, 7 am until 2 pm, depending on the demand each day. Most harvesters pick from 7 until 12 or 1 pm.
Payment: Blueberry pickers are paid $1.25 per pound of berries they pick. Payment is weekly, on Fridays after the harvest is completed for that day.
