Island Hothouse in Ladysmith (near Nanaimo) BC is hiring Greenhouse Workers for the 2020 season!
About Island Hothouse
Island Hothouse is looking for workers to help with out pepper plants. Tasks include tying, pruning and harvesting sweet bell peppers. Wage is $14.00/hr and we will need people available to work through evenings and weekends. Work can start immediately.
Our farm is GAP Canada certified as our products are sold through out BC to wholesalers and direct to grocery stores.
Desired Qualities
Someone who is motivated and eager to learn and improve on job-based skills.
Job Tasks
Tying, pruning and harvesting while keeping products and work place clean.
Job Details
Term: Immediate start
Hours: 40+
Wage: Straight work for $14.00/hr
