About Belle-Isle Farm
Tucked away against the north side of Mount Pkols, on Cordova Bay close to Blenkinsop, Belle-Isle farm is ideally located to provide our community with fresh and naturally grown local veggies! The farm has the wonderful advantage of feeling a bit rural while being close to the city therefore reducing our environmental footprint by having close access to our selling points.
The farm is 1 acre and we use all organic practices even tough we do not have to certification. Most of the work is done by hand and with the aid of a rototiller.
We are very close to many bus routes and the Llochside bike trail!
We grow a wide array of vegetables on a 1 acre plot and distribute our veggies through to a CSA running from June to December, a farmers market and a few stores and restaurants. Everything is grown organically and with the intention of providing a diverse range of seasonal vegetables.
Belle-Isle farm is part of a farming partnership with Little Mountain Farm, together we hope to create a wider community keen on growing and eating more fresh local food!
