We are beyond excited to be organizing another Young Agrarians event in Manitoba! Join fellow farmers and food lovers for an afternoon and evening of learning, sharing and fun! This event is free and open to everyone.

6:00 – Potluck & Mix/Mingle
SPEAKERS: Ryan an Alex run Tamarack Farms near Erickson, MB. They raise a diverse range of plants and animals, including quinoa and other grains, pastured heritage pigs, native grasses and forbs, and hay. They direct market their products across the province and have experience working with retail.
MINI-MARKET: Have farm products for sale or to trade? We’ll set up some tables for you to share what you grow. Find some great Xmas gifts or fill your fridge and freezer.
BRING: Please bring a dish to share at the potluck and tools to eat with. This is an old but beautiful hall. Please note, there is no running water available, we’ll be using the outhouse facilities. Bring water bottle, coffee cup, notebook. Bring items to trade or for sale for the mini-market.
OVERNIGHT OPTIONS: Our formal program will take place on Saturday but we’ll be renting accommodations nearby for anyone that wants to stay over night. Please let us know when you register so we make sure to save you a space.

I’m not sure if I’m a Young Agrarian, is this event for me? Yes! This event is for anyone of any age and any stage interested in food and farming. Our events are for anyone involved in growing the next generation of farmer. Whether you are just starting out, thinking about a career change, looking for someone to come and work with you on your land, this event is for you!!!
Are children welcome? Children are welcome but please leave furry friends at home.
