ABOUT THE POSITION Wildwood Farm is looking for a Farm Team Member this season! You will get to be involved in all aspects of operating a mixed farm. We currently raise grass-fed cows, pastured pigs, and free-range chickens for eggs and meat. We milk a couple of dairy cows, and grow annual and perennial gardens for our fruits and vegetables. A great group of farmers and farmer friends came together during the third Young Agrarians Peace Country Mixer! Camp Tamarack was filled with laughter, knowledge, expertise, interesting and curious talk during the weekend of February 22nd and 23rd, 2020. If you are intending to farm, are currently farming, or have recently exited farming, please fill out the National New Farmer Survey 2020! This survey is a follow-up to our important 2015 survey which was used to advocate for better policies to support new farmers in Canada, including through Canada’s national food policy at a Standing Committee on Agriculture and Agri-Food.
