Saskatchewan is home to some incredible ranches and mixed farm operations dedicated to regenerative agriculture, where stewardship of the land and ethical animal husbandry go hand in hand. Swipe through to meet some of the inspiring host farms in our Apprenticeship Program who are nurturing the land and shaping the future of ecological farming.⁠

🐂 Mitchell Family Farms (Livelong, SK): A regenerative farm raising 150 pairs of commercial cattle and finishing steers for local beef sales. With a focus on humane practices and soil health, the family is dedicated to sustainable agriculture while continually improving their land.⁠
⁠
🐂 Upland Organics (Wood Mountain, SK): Allison and Cody farms 8,000 acres of certified organic and Regenerative Organic land in Saskatchewan, producing pulses, cereals, and oilseeds while integrating cattle for soil health and diversity. Since 2010, they have focused on sustainable farming, raising their family, and contributing positively to both their local and agricultural communities.⁠
⁠
🐂 Grovenland Farm (Lanigan, SK): This multi-generational, LGBTQ2S+ affirming family farm produces grass-finished beef, pastured pork, chicken, and organic vegetables. Using holistic grazing and organic practices, they sell their produce and meat through local farmers’ markets, CSA subscriptions, and online platforms, fostering a welcoming and sustainable farm community.⁠
