DEADLINE EXTENDED: Sunday, November 8th, 2015
Are you a young (or young at heart) animal or vegetable producer located in British Columbia? Are you running a farm and are looking for guidance in continuing to grow your business?
Once again we are running our BC Business Mentorship Network which will pair new farmers with some of the veterans of small scale agriculture to cultivate the skills for running ecologically sustainable and financially viable businesses. Mentors will work to help you analyze your operations and chart a course to move forward towards financial sustainability.
See what our 2014/2015 mentees have been up to this season!
What You Get: 40 hours of one-on-one mentorship with an experienced farm business mentor, financial training, opportunities for peer networking, and greater online visibility through YA social channels.
As this mentorship is focused on growing business skills in farmers we are looking for farms/farmers who are in their first 5 years of production and are looking for help in strategically moving their business forward.
Young Agrarians wants to continue to empower new farmers to take on the business skills that will allow their farms to thrive. We think this will be hugely beneficial to the young agrarians we serve and hope you will take the time to apply.
For detailed information about the program and application visit our BUSINESS page.
