It was a remarkable day to gather and talk about our passion for stewarding the land, getting our hands dirty, and savouring the most nourishing, delectable food ever! We were thrilled to have @ 125 people in attendance throughout the day, travelling from all over the South Interior, Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland to be in Kelowna. It was exciting to see that close to half of the room were new to the Young Agrarians and, based on feedback so far, there are some clear needs in terms of supporting new entrants to agro-ecology. Golden Ears Farm is looking for one more full-time intern for the 2016 season to complete our crew of four interns plus Tristan and Michelle. About Golden Ears Farm: The internship would be from April 4 to September 30, with a possible extension into October depending on the fall harvest and storage needs.
