Learn about why they chose to go organic and how their farm business has worked on increasing biodiversity and created habitat for wild flora and fauna.
About the farm: Sunnie Valley is a certified organic mixed farm owned by Terry and Roseanna Sheehan. Come learn about how they raise organic beef cattle, pigs, chicken and grain. With a declining farmer population (farmers are less than 2% of the Canadian population!), the Sheehan family has also been focused on the next generation of farmers and incorporating their children into the farming business. The Sheehans believe in sharing their land with nature and know that it will be a sustainable enterprise for generations to come because of this.
