I run Little Mountain Farm http://www.littlemountainveggies.ca/, a 1-acre non-certified organic mixed vegetable farm and I am looking for a fellow farmer to share the land with for the 2018 season. Sales are primarily through a CSA (I currently harvest 50 shares/week, though this would likely be expanded with the addition of another vegetable farmer!), as well as one farmers market. About Manna Farm Manna Farm is located in the Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island, providing a year round, full diet, free choice CSA (Community Shared Agriculture) program. We currently produce organic vegetables, fruit, seeds, nuts, grains, beans, eggs, meat birds (chicken and turkey), and Big Leaf maple syrup. Seeking an apprentice for the 2015 growing season, from May through October. Slow Train Farm is small family farm which grows over an acre of vegetable crops and staple foods for their family. Their primary markets are the Quesnel and Williams Lake Farmers’ Markets and a weekly CSA vegetable bin delivery in Williams Lake. Time is split between garden tasks and ongoing construction projects, many of them using techniques such as cob, earthbag and cordwood.
