Gathering time for Peace Country Farmer Friends

The snow is piling up, nature is resting, and hopefully so are you!
Before the days in the Peace Region warm and the pace picks up, join Young Agrarians inside the beautiful walls of Demmitt Hall for a pre-season gathering, documentary screening, and pub night.

Let’s meet those new to us, greet those dear to us, and spend time discussing what our vision for ecological farming within the Peace Country might look like.

It is the time of year where we start gearing up for the next season. We are excited to hear about your upcoming dreams and schemes and get to know your operation. If you are new to farming, we want to hear how we may best support you!

Let’s sit back and watch

To kick off a documentary series at Demmitt Hall, we will be watching “Seed – The Untold Story”, followed by one of Demmit’s legendary Pub Nights. Which includes cooking homemade pizza on top of the fire place.

Drag your farming friends out of winter hibernation for a fun and casual evening of good conversation, a compelling doc of great importance to our farming futures, and of course, some tasty brews.

When: February 23rd at 6:30 PM

Where: Demmitt Hall
