Posted by Dana Penrice on May 09, 2017

Organic Alberta and Young Agrarians are excited to announce that we are providing bursaries for women farmers in Alberta to participate in the Success for Women in Agri-Food Program hosted by the Agriculture and Food Council. Aspiring, new and current farmers who are looking to develop their business skills, gain knowledge from experts and to develop their network are encouraged to apply.

Take the program for only $55!

Regular cost is $350 per person (Savings of $295!)

Program Description:

Learn the foundations of running a successful business through the GoForth 100 Essential Small Business Skills Learning Series through an online format to be completed at your own pace, complemented with 2 in-person workshops, centrally located in Red Deer, to further add value, information and useful learning tools on relevant business topics to add to your learning experience. This is an excellent opportunity to learn, build your business network with other woman ag-entrepreneurs and apply the knowledge you gain to your business by working on your business or business idea versus in your business.  This program will start upon registration with access to the GoForth Learning materials, the first workshop taking place August 12th and finishing the program with the second workshop October 21st serving as the wind up event.
