Introducing Rebecca and Nick Bolkowy, the brother and sister team who run Local Roots Farm Market in Squamish, BC. Rebecca and Nick were matched to farmland through the B.C. Land Matching Program in 2022. Read their story to learn the many ways that Rebecca and Nick are growing local food security in Squamish, including maintaining an educational demonstration garden, operating a nursery and partnering with local farmers to distribute their produce.⁠

So how does one find leasing arrangements anyway? I have tons of experience with large gardens and want to get onto a couple of acres on Vancouver Island. any suggestions?
