Join Young Agrarians for a two day, multi-farm tour at the stunning north end of Kootenay Lake (Johnsons Landing, Meadow Creek and Argenta) August 25 & 26, 2018. We will be touring several diverse farms (Animals, Herbs, CSA, Market Gardens, Agritourism),  explore local farm resources in the area and and learn about grizzly bear coexistence solutions from Gillian Saunders. Meet your Columbia Basin Program Coordinator, Brittny Anderson Brittny Anderson grew up in the Columbia Basin. She is excited to join the Young Agrarians team and work with farmers around the region. Brittny became deeply passionate about food systems while working as an intern at Bija Vidyapeeth (Earth University) Vandana Shiva’s Biodiversity Conservation Farm in India.
