Are you interested to learn about organic pasture raised meat production? Lost Savanna Farm is looking for an apprentice to join our team starting immediately until the end of October.

ABOUT LOST SAVANNA FARM

Our 73 acre Certified Organic, Certified Demeter farm is devoted to raising animals on pasture to produce the highest quality meat (chicken, pork and beef) and eggs. We sell our meat primarily through a 60 member monthly meat CSA and at the farmers market on Saturdays. The farm is a diverse mix of pasture, silvopasture, forest, permaculture orchard, household garden, ponds and wetlands. We are not hobby farmers. We eat, live, and sleep farming.. this is all we do. And we learned from some of the world’s best! Apprentices will learn firsthand, the tools necessary to become a farmer.

  1. Hi, I noticed you’ve left an ad here on youngagrarians.org back in 2018. I’m wondering if you are seeking an apprentice for 2020 as well? Before I go into detail about myself I want to ensure that the apprentice is still required.
    Thank you,
    Oliver McLaren

    1. Hi Oliver,

I’m not sure if Lost Savanna will see this comment – best to reach out directly via the contact info at the end of this blog post.

      Cheers,
      Michi
